Yamaha handebar conversion
Just wondering if this is a plausible idea. Love my xp but i'd much rather have the yamaha setup with the finger throttle and the manual trim. can you make the conversion work?

Why not just get a finger throttle for the seadoo with cable adapter? That's what I do.

agreed but how about the manual twist style trim? can you run a cable from a yamaha style twist grip to the nozzle on a doo and make it work??? i like the manual twist trim better. faster and bulletproof design, unlike the vts which seems to fail an awful lot... mine works for now.

yes it can be done. have to play around with different yamaha model cables to make it work. but def doable. can even add a spring and run a lever for a hand lever drop nozzle.

Talk to OU812 on here. He did it to his GTX. Same difference.
