nope you throw it away and buy another, however it is meant to last the life of the ski and possibly will with alot of TLC treat it like your supermodel g/friend lol and it will last.

The Eaton TVS in the 300X is something similar than what you see on most V8 cars and the mighty ZR1.
That thing will last, and will not break like the old SC.

Proof they can work as well on Sea?
Mercrury Verado use the same type of SC but made by IHI and they have been working great!
So far I never heard of one failed in South Pacific area and they have been running on some engine for 3000 hours+.
And they do NOT required any type of maintenance, like taking it apart or oiling.

SC, Engine block has been good.
But because of power output, gear box had some problem but now fixed with better one.
And used to have some problem with fuel supply but fixed as well.

But SC is great and strong!

The verado ITI is a true whiple/lysolm type charger. The TVS is a twisted roots.

I have an ITI under the bench. I just have to figure out how to counter rotate it or hang it out the back of the engine instead of tucked under the ex manifold. If it is worth doing.
