    96 polaris slt 700 problems

    it shut down on me and wouldnt start back.130lbs compression on both cylinders,good blue/white spark,getting fuel through the carbs,new plugs,checked the timing and its good,kill switch and lanyard work as they should,battery is full charged.she wont crank or even hit.help please!

    Compression+fuel+spark= running engine. You are missing something.
    Are you getting fuel only from the accelerator pump ? Try a squirt of carb cleaner.

    have tried that.thats what i not understanding,im a seasoned automotive mechanic,just new to jet skis and im like you fuel
    +compression+spark = run.its got me baffled.ive checked the timing and its fine,checked grouns,checked kill switch and lanyard,kinda lost now

    Does it Pop and back fire ?
    Disconnect the Blk/yel from the CDI and try it. That is the "kill wire" grounds the CDI to stop engine.
    Check the cranking volts on red/purp going into the CDI.
    Let us know what you get.
