1997 785 Long drive shaft VS. short

I'm starting to put my 97' Pro back together & was wondering if I could benifit from moving the pump back. It's an all stock machine & ride conditions vary from glass to 1 1/2' chop.

stay with the short shaft unless you have a hardened long shaft and they don't last long either
