    Thumbs up

What year is your GP800? 97-00 or 00-05? If it's prior to 2000, I can give u some tips. I used to own 2 GP's. from those years. I had a 760 going 61mph so it can definatley be done.

Bro, first & foremost... I LOVE YOUR SIGNATURE!!!! PWCTODAY SUCKS!!!! I f-ing love it! Ok, as for my ol GP800? Didn't have much going on there. I swapped for an 04 GPR engine which brings 19 hp more than my original engine then installed an R&D rideplate, intake grate, Solas SS prop, stabilizers, RIVA flame arrestors & a TDR waterbox. I was topping out at 56mph on the GPS. Now my GP760 was a completely diferent story. My GP760 topped out at 61mph on the GPS.Take a look at the specs...

    • 64 hours on Riva Stage II engine
    • Converted choke to Primer
    • RIVA Performance Exhaust
    • Performance TDR Water-box
    • Riva Sponsons
    • Riva Stabilizers
    • Riva Intake Grate
    • Riva Nozzle
    • Riva Racing Head
    • SOLAS SS Prop
    • Mikuni Carbs
    • Riva Spacers
    • Riva Racing Air Filters
That was my baby. Well, both of them were. They were fun. here's a couple pics...

Sad to say that you will not be able to make it hit 67-68 in a limited.

Alright dude, first & foremost, GP's didnt come out until 1997 & 800cc engines began in 1998. So the oldest it can be is either a 97 with a newer GP800 engine or simply a 98-00 GP800. Now I hate to dissapoint u but the only way I see u reaching such speeds on that ski is by getting rid of that 800cc engine & begin working with a 1300R engine. Otherwise, forget it. Spending on the 800, the $2,400 i did with my 760, u may end up reaching 61-62, but it makes no sence if u can begin at 60mph with a 97-00 GP1200. I wouldn't waste my time on that 800. Sell the engine. It can go like hot cakes here on the forums. When I owned the 800GP, I knew what I had in my hands & never intended on spending that much money on it. Like I said, should u need any help on making it quicker, just let me kow, but above 64mph, no can do!

oh ok kewl, yea ure right 2 much money and it wont be worth it. so how much u think i can sell the engine for its in good condition real clean. or u think i should sell the whole ski and just get a 1200r or a 1300r?
