Welcome to the hulk a limited has a 951 motor and color of ski are Grey and red 97 1/2 or red and purple 98. A 97 reg one has a 785 motor in it and are red and white

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm trying to figure out if the sea-doo I'm looking at buying has the 951 motor or not. The guy says it's a "1998 Bombardier 900 GSX 2 person ski." It's a little far away from me so I don't wanna get there and find out it dosn't have the bigger motor. I've seen pics of it and it's grey & red, so it sounds like it's a late 1997 with a 951 motor, would this be correct?

    Here's a pic of it:

The red and grey one is 951. Your right. The white and red one is a 800.

Like ou812 said. The 97 1/2 and 98 951 had allot of problem. The 99 and newer motor were better. But that motor is hit or miss. It can run for ever or grenade at any time. Good luck
