    nIGHTMARE!!!

    NOT HAD THE SKI IN THE WATER FOR 5 MONTHS, today i thaught i would install my twin prop, adjust a thrust and jims plate ready for tomorrow
    snapped a bolt in the pump and to add insult to injury snapped a ride plate bolt

    looks like more time off the water

    Ha ha Craig lol. Been in the same position as Corky...I may have a torque wrench that's older than me, but it works well.

    the bolts snapped on the way out craig, was the pump first and i said ohh well ive had them in and out more times than i can remember but needed the plate off to get the wear ring out, the bolt just went "ting" glad they have gone now though and not next month as i am taking the ski to ibiza. would have been devostated if i got there and got a stone stuck in the prop or something,.

    Hopefully there was enough enough of the plate bolt left to grab it w/ vice grips and back it out?
