quite a few benefits, especially if you need a water box when the OEm version was crap and no longer available ( here me Yamaha?). TDR stuff is top rate, I've sold a few in the last two years to various yamaha waverunner owners when their "plastic" grenade" went off. Price is right too!

Don't know of any other, but if you have a 96xp you can upgrade to a 97-99 spx white water box. Seadoo figured out the problems from the earlier models and made improvements. Most racers use this upgrade. Plus they are usually only about $60 to $80 used.

I found the TDR folks easy to deal with..they have a website.... I'm sure they can answer your specifics. What I recall when I was ordering from them was that there were at least two options for their products..something like stock noise level then the competition one where folks weren't going to be too picky if your db's are a little high. Excellent welding quality on the yamaha box, my next door neighbor ( a 120 year oil commercial welder..well we really don't know how old he is, but he claims to have done a repair on a dinosaur collar once...

I'm sure it's a good alternative to a new OEM box..and not that I'm all that into appearances in the hull, the all aluminum look_is_ impressive

I'd be remiss outlaw55, if I didn't welcome you to gh

i have a 95xp and 97 spx both 800's,they have same water box,ill check if the previous owner of the 95xp change it to a 97-99 white water box already,i though they have same water box out of the factory.

Is your 95xp a 720 or 787? The 720 water box is different than 800 water box. Also I believe that the 95xp 800's water box is different than the 96xp. I could be wrong though.
Thanks to for the welcome. I have been a member of pwctoday for a little while and a lot of people refer to this forum also. I just started racing this year and still learning.
