    Finally Settled on a Yamaha FZS 09

    It has 50 hours, what should I be looking for? This is my first ski.
    What areas shall I be checking. Thanks in advance guys.

    Check the prop/pump/ wearring for excessive wear and corrosion. Replace if needed. Check the SC clutch. Other than that, visually inspect it top to bottom to check for anything that looks out of wack and for rust/ corrosion. I would change the plugs, oil, and oil filter just to be safe. Enjoy the ski! Take a look at the 4 stroke section for TONS more info.

    compression test, just to make sure the engine is healthy
