Wrong impeller causing loss of 1300 rpm's??

I posted a while back about this issue but didnt get any replies. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I cant figure out why my rpm's are so low. I can only rev to about 7300 rpm's when I am in the water.I can esily hit 8650 on the limiter when the ski jumps out of the water though. This is leading me to think that my prop is the incorrect pitch? Please help! my mods are in my signature.

    Thanks,
    Hunter

could also be your supercharger slipping. i had a similar problem in my rxp. have you taken the supercharger out and checked the slip?

No I have not. What are the specs supposed to be for the slippage?

I'll check the slip on the charger when I get home tomorrow. If it is the charger slipping how come I can hit the limiter when I come out of the water?? Is it the extra drag from the motor being in the water when it slips?

    04 RXP? Ecu?

Is your knock sensor still attached? If so, remove it...ECU's for 04 usually have the knock built in......Try that.

There is no load on the trailer, so it will rev that high....But 7300 is the around the magical number for the Knock Sensor...

The rule of thumb is 1 foot pound of slip, per 1 pound of Boost.
    ie: 9lbs boost = 9lbs of slip.
