    Wastegate block off 300x

Can the block off for a 250/260 be used on 300x?

yes we have but not with the plate, as stated here already many times over and over and over, you can adjust the spring tension right up on the oem bov valve, chosing to block it completely.

I blocked it off with an HKS blow off valve in it, sience the HKS blow off valve is a push type, it will stay completely close and only open when throttle is released, making a sexy sound and retaining boost

Excuse the my ignorance, but what is the significance of blocking this off and what exactly are they blocking off?

The reason I asked is according to the instructions supplied with the R&D part you are supposed to install the plate behind the wastegate and reinstall the assembly. The problem I am having is that the bolt that comes from the bottom of the WG will not push in far enough to allow the plate to be flush with the WG....what am I missing?

I think those instructions may have pertained to the 250/260. Just remove the Bov completely on the 300 and block it off with the plate... I used the oem fasteners.
