    need sl650 carbs

    Title says all, I need them asap. Mine are too bad to rebuild(rusted) let me know what you have.

    Yeah I had the same problem as you on a newly purchased 750sl some time ago.....carbs were too internally rusted to even rebuild. I bought a set off of john zigler which were in such good condition that they really didnt need to be rebuilt (although I did anyway to be on the safe side).

    I have a set for $75 + ship
    Just a little forewarn, choke plates have been removed, you will need to install a primer kit or transfer choke plates from your other carbs to use it.
    As seen in photos, stainless steel socket head screws are used, you'll also need a set of metric Allen wrench handy to work on it.

    No, they don't need rebuild kits. If you want them, just tell me what year your SL650 is and I'll make sure they have correct jets and POP before sending out.

    i have fresh water 650 carb racks here. clean, but i would recomend a rebuild before installing. i can do it, or supply a kit if you want to.

    ok, I got the carbs all working now! there was a chunk of rust in the fuel inlet of the carb. I know it's probably a bad I dea but I'm going to try to run it until winter, I have bigger plans then so hopefully it will hold out until then. Thanks, if it fails again I will then buy a set.
