Question 2007 Kawasaki Ultra 250X low rpm

Bought a used 2007 Kawasaki Ultra 250X and have trouble with low RPM and top end MPH. Max 7100 RPM 50 MPH. Took to local dealer to replace slightly damaged impeller and the following was done. New impeller/jet pump case/ shaft(threads came off when impeller taken off)/bearings/seals. Test ride was 7200 RPM and 50 MPH with GPS. Taken back to dealership that had sold it to me(160 miles away) for them to look at. They tighted the supercharger belt and confirmed 50 MPH. Engine compression and boost both with specs. Second test ride 10 psi boost, 7,150 RPM. They then checked crank end play and pump drive shaft play and nothing found. Then they looked at exhaust system, fuel quality, relief valves, checked for oil between supercharger and throttle body, checked air snorkel from air box to super charger. No issues found. Replaced reed valve assemblies on cylinder head cover. Third test ride 10-11 psi boost, 7400 RPM, 53 MPH top speed. They have agreed to look at in a couple weeks as they are so busy with the motorcyle rally currently. Any ideas on what is wrong? Fuel pump? CDI unit? Thanks for any help

for a start block the egr valves on top of the rocker cover, they are not your problem but kawasaki did rid them in 2008. you sure its the right pitch prop? you are only just short of correct rpms for a stocker, maybe try another gps as that speed doesnt match those rpms.

Solas Impeller KX-CD-16/21 is the prop that was put in after seeing damage on the one that came in it. Most of the time when it is at 50 MPH the RPM's are closer to 7000. Personnally the only time I saw RPM go to 7400 is when it came out of water off a wave.

a 16/21 is a faster top speed than a STOCK prop, at those RPM i think your gps is out

start from a STOCK OEM prop as they do 66-68 mph at 7600-7800

do the 6 degrees timing ADVANCE mod ASAP
I wonder if some one has done a 6 degrees retarded timing mod on your ski ???????????

Still low on RPM and top end but speed today with GPS is 64 MPH at 7300 RPM. Next step is to check timing advance. Does changing the air intake seem to help?
