PIC 1: Pet tach(sealed with crazy glue with 207 hours on it) attached to glove box lid with velcro. The wire is run down into channel next to lid. Lid opens/closes with no problems of pinching wire.

PIC 2. Drilled hole in side of black tray to keep wire from getting pinched by the plastic steering cover when raising/lowering steering. It then runs down into the stock thru-hull grommet to keep the wire from getting pinched by the seat.

PIC 3. You can see the black wire heading to #1 coil pack. It's below the seat line.

Used the bracket that came with my PET 2500. I REALLY like this mounting location but I had to use some zip-ties to keep it in place. Note: Always tether something like this.

Just kidding, those gauges look like a very nice setup. Personally, I have my tiny tach mounted on my RAM mount on my glove box lid.
