x charger and 42's
he guys i got a couple questions. my charger is getting to the point that it should have a rebuild. so the cheapest and easiest route for me to go is the x and 42's. my question for you guys that are running the x, 42s, and riva stage one kit. what should i see for speed? i have gotten some pretty good predictions but i want to see if anyone has a actual gps speed rating. my next question for that is should i just pitch the 14/19 or should i go to the 15/20 with that set up?

If your not planning on running an external intercooler, then you wouldnt need the 42s. I would pitch the prop you have now and only get a 15/20 if you get an external intercooler.

It really all depends on set up. I have got just X SCer and 42's to run 77 on a RXP.... How.
Well Open loop and Riva ride plate, and a Riva rear air. SKi ran down right awesome.

To run an X charger with the stock intercooler I recommend 42 lb injectors to keep your air/fuel ratio safe
If at any point you choose to run an after market external intercooler then you will also need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and the 42's
With either scenario you will want to use a 15/20R impeller.

i know of an 04 rxt running an x charger, xs cooler and lc1 and his AFRs are more than safe across the entire rpm band. Thats with the stock 38s and no rising rate.

well i am going with the charger and injectors to be safe and see the gains then over the winter i plan on doing the i/c. my next question is how do the x's run the external intercooler and x charger with no rrfpr. in theory could i have my ecu re mapped to the same as an x or use an x ecu?

your ecu is fine if you go rrfpr.... you can use stock ecu .. if you want rotax or riva you need valve train upgrade......
