Make sure your in atleast 4' of water before touching the throttle. These jets work just like a vacuum cleaner sucking stuff up.

What clearance are you considering worn out? What does the wear look like? Are you riding in debris free water? How many hours since rebuild?

Did you start the ski for the first time IN THE WATER after changing the ring?

its possible that the hub could be bent on your prop causing it to spin in an oval pattern, did you make sure the prop spins freely after new wear ring install?

    yup, seen that before

I would also check the clearance on all the blades.

Yes it spined freely after rebuild, I did not know I had to start ski in the water.

um you don't have to start ski in water after new wear ring install... if there are no broken parts then in or out of water shouldn't matter... did u take the pump back out and you see that its already damaged? or are you just cavating...

no i took the pump out and there is a part where it is worn almost all the way down , plus i cavitated real bad all day out of the whole, after started riding no problem but slow top speed
