    2009 Yam Fzs

Morning, I want to do some small mods just to make the engine breath better, and a tight budget ( bad economy).
Was thinking to do the Riva intake manifold upgrade, and the performance power filter. Then the R&D intake grate.
I dont wanna play around with my impeller, Will these minor upgrated force me to do anything to the impeller.
When I called Riva the were pushing the impeller on me. I honestly would like to just do the above mentioned upgrades and thats about all. I hope i wouldnt have to change the impeller.
    Thanks for any advice.

No, you won't need to change the prop or repitch it with just those mods. However, you will be touching the soft limiter at WOT. It's ok to do this, you just won't be at optimal performance.

Mike FZR, Thanks for your reply.
Since these will be the only upgrades I will do, what do you recommend I do with the prop?

You can repitch it yourself using a set of prop gauges. I would try a 16/21 and go from there. Or you can always leave the prop as it is if you don't want to tweak it.

I forget the exact spec for number of pumps with the grease nipple, I think it is close to 20 at the 10hr service.
