    Polaris Hurricane

Hey guys i just picked up a polaris hurricane and have a couple questions.
First of all i have no spark so i opened my fuse box and found the smaller of the two fuses blown and my cdi cracked and seperated about 1/4 of an inch all the way around the box. Ive never seen this happen in a yamaha ski was just wondering if anybody new why the fuse didnt protect my cdi?
I also am wondering how hard is it to come across a set of twin pipes?
Also there is a set of vortex flame arrestors on my carbs just wondering if they came stock with the hurricane or were put on there after?
Also is there any recommended mods i should do to my ski? I currently have an r and d intake grate and an aftermarket impellor as well as an extended ride plate that i made.

    Thanks for the help
    Alex

first you need to determine if you have the old style ignition system or the updated system. If it is stock it will need the upgrade as the first gens were junk. I'm not looking at the wiring diagram but I believe one fuse is for the MFD (info gauge) and the other is for the bilge pump. Some people on here sell twin pipes on occasion. Post a WTB in the parts for sale section. The vortex flame arrestors and the R&D intake grate are stock. you should have a three blade 12/17 swirl impeller in there.

pictures and part numbers will help others help you,
    welcome to the hulk!

If you need an original style CDI, you are better off installing the update kit (new stator and CDI) # 2873022. can be bought here:
