    Gp1300r compression

    Just got a new to me 03 gpr1300r. What should compresssion numbers be? I'm getting 100psi across all three.

    Did you check it when the motor was warm, battery had a good charge, used a good compression gauge?

    Seems a little low but I'm a newb still so what do I know lol

    AFAIK, it should be around 120-125, but the more important thing is consistency. Your gauge may read low for instance, but the fact that you have 100psi in all 3 is a good sign.

    How did you do the test? Did you hold the throttle wide open? Only remove one spark plug at a time?

    Also, you have a PV motor, did you make sure the valves were closed?
