    2005 ultra 150 with 40 hours

    Hi,i need help.i changed the plugs,the propellar and everything looks like brand new..it starts and runs great on the hose in my driveway.all the pissers are fine and not clogged.i put it in the water and it over heats.i burnt my arm on the manifold after a few mins of running it.the fuel light and warning light was blinking showing it was over heating.the ski was sitting awhile in my driveway.it only has 40 hours on it.

    Sounds like you need to remove the expansion chamber (the big pipe on top of the engine), and check all the passageways for trash.

    You might consider installing a strainer to keep the trash out.

    Thanks, I will take a look at it tomorrow.Is it easy to take apart the expansion tank?I already blew air through all the hoses.

    5 bolts and a hose clamp hold it on. After you get it out, there are 6 or 8 bolts that hold it together.
