Pro Impeller is a 11/16 YEA or NEA

I finally pulled my impeller and it is a Skat 11/16

The question is do I roll back with it, or use the 10.5/16.5,
it seemed like my rpm's were never above 7700 or 7800, with 57 mph only

More details are needed on current setup. I know every stock boat I build this setup works (Stock 98+ carbs, with 122.5 lows and 135/130/135 highs) running a 10.5/16.5 with stock pipes with turn 7900+ rpms all day long and GPS around the 60mph mark. If you are still running those Red Tops pitch them in the trash... (SORRY) Over the years I have never seen a set work out or out perform a stock set of carbs. If you are going to build a solid running limited ski swap out the carbs follow Randy's pipe routing and you will see much better performance.

Once I do the swap over, I will do some testing with the gps with both the 11/16 and the 10.5/16.5 to see which one lets me get best speed and rpm's for the hole shot,

103* in the shade and 85% humidity is taking its toll on everyting down here, it really messes with the 4 strokes rpm's
    thanks,

Your really not going to see a huge differance between the two expecially if the props stated out as something different such as a 13/18 or 14/19. Good luck with the testing.. If it were mine I would just put the 10.5-16.5 in and run it. BTW - Is that the 10.5-16.5 that you got when you purchased the boat? If so that's my old prop that Impro's bent for me and it kicks ass.

I've been out test my 785SS boat with the addtion of two flow-rights installed on either side of the set latch in the back to help cool the engine compartment. So far it has worked great with the heat. Still on my quest to pass the 70mph mark on a true 785cc Pro. Best yet.. 69.6mph with 1/2 tank of gas in almost race trim..

That is the prop that came with the boat, the previous owner never put it on.
