    Intrest in hurricane or parts

I just bought a 96 Hurricane and Im trying to decide weather to fix it up or part it out. Bought as a extra ski to play on-heard they are fun -almost like a blaster 2 hull. I dont want to put a lot of money or time in it as I have plenty of other skis. Its complete and needs cleanup and carbs cleaned etc.... Is there any market for these if I ever want to resell it and get my money back? If not ill probally part it as its all there and has a great 700 in it. Thanks

I'd do the carbs, take it for a ride to see if you like it.

I would guess the market for parts is slim, except for the engine and jet pump-all the other parts are specific to the Hurricane and was only made for 2 years. You might end up sitting on the parts for a while.

Bought the ski with intentions of keeping it as another play ski. I'm $700 in it now. I figure I'll do the carbs and fuel system. It's got some fade and I don't ride ugly skis. Lol. Need seat cover. Mats and a lot of cleanup and heat gun to faded hood. I just dont want to end up with a lot more in it than it's worth I'll probally go ahead and fix it up. I change skis a lot and so I buy and sell a lot and don't want to loose if I change my mind on it. I love the blaster 2s for playing around on and this hull seems very close in build design

if you weren't in missouri I'd be down to take it off your hands for a decent price, I've been interested in those since I saw one when I was a kid.

whats going on where the water box is supposed to be? Are those HX sponsons on there? What's going on in the back ride plate / pump mods?

I was going to set the boat up for the Spec Sport racing class but I have other projects going on so its just in the way. I had installed a B-pipe adaptor with the exhaust header cut, turned 180* and a TNT body. The water box is stock, it now has a stock pipe with two inches cut. The waterbox out tube is from an old custom race setup but it's in there, so there it stays. I made a custom 46 intake manifold for it with VF III's. The thing ran awsome. It still has a brand new 12/17 skat in a new pump. The sponsons are custom made Waveblaster racing sponsons that make the thing turn like never before. It does have a new update stator and cdi.
