Question Another supercharger picture tread, do I still have the ceramic washers?

    Hi,

pulled my SC today on my rxp 05, I think it looks like ceramic, but Im not 100% certain.
My RXP was tunned in 06 with almoast every then available rotax racing parts, a little strange if they did not remove the ceramic washers.

Could anyone of you more experienced riders help me?
Can you also by the pictures have any opinion on the wear of the SC?

    Thanks guys.

Ceramic.. change them out. can't tell the wear by looking at it.. that is needed by checking slip... and you need new slip washers anyways.. how many hours on it.. is usually how you judge if it needs rebuilt... but if it has ceramics my guess is it needs rebuilt.

    Thanks,
66 hours on the SC. Unfortunally Im in sweden and two way shipping to Jerry will be to much, but over here the dealers take the same amount to rebuild the SC as I would have to pay for a Xcharger from Jerrys store.
So I think I will just get the riva washers and hope that the SC will hang on for a while or order a xcharger and 42 injectors. If I just go with the riva washers I hope there is no risk for SC failure that can cause problems to other parts of the engine like the ceramic washers can do.

yeah, that could be the best alternative. I think I have a drop in wheel also in my SC, so I think I could get some $$$ for it.
