    Removing coupler at rear of engine

    i have the coupler removal tool..having trouble on which direction i should go to loosen? have been trying to remove in regular direction_counter clockwise and no luck! i have doubt that it has reverse threads r not. hate to damage anything! got to replace my engine case seals

    counter clockwise. Heat up the back of the coupler were the threads are for about 3 min with a basic torch and it will pop right off.
