2001 GTX fuel injected
I just bought a 2001 GTX Fuel Injected and it has 60 lbs of compression in one cylinder, and 120 in the other. It ran fine up until 2 weeks ago when the guy I bought it from said it wouldnt stay running. Took it to shop to find compression problem. What is the general concensus on here? Top end rebuild while the motor stays in the hull? Or try to get a rebuilt one. It has 160 hrs, and I am assuming that the bottom end is good, and that the bad cylinder isnt scarred up to badly. I will know more when I pull the head off later this week.
Thanks for any info.
