where are you located? Are you a dealer or end customer??
Be fun to have a report from a real live off the production line
    unit.

Sounds good, maybe they are going to start trickling in. I sure hope so I want to see some real numbers. Roger

We are in central Missouri. JD1's home town. Kawasaki anounced on 12/15 that they would be releasing one per ordering dealer early, up to the available quantities. (was Jan. for Ultra LX and Feb. for the Ultra 250 X). The shipping company told us today that we will have them 1st thing in the morning. We will try to have a good accurate speed by the afternoon.

Gonna be kind of chilly for a ride. I have a very good friend that lives in Holt Summit and he told me yesterday that it was getting cold. Thanks Roger

Get the ski in the AM and go balls to the walls by afternoon...doesn't sound like a proper break in. The speeds are sure to be affected because you will be GPSing with a new tight engine.

He's right. Follow the RECOMMENDED Kawi breakin procedure.

Could you measure the distance, center to center, of the trailer bunks when set up to hold the Ultra. I figure it is about 24" but would like the exact measurement so I can pre-adjust the trailer before getting the ski. I want the bunks to go in between the hull strakes, and not directly under the strakes.

    Thanks,
    Richard

The only break in for that motor is the rings. and shim bucket, and being plated cylinders thats almost instant.....It,s not a rollor bearing motor like a 2 stroke

BUT the blowers apex seals and bearings have a break in period on the 250. I would give it at least 30 seconds wooo hoooo. Just kidding I would at least put a hour on it before I went nuts with it just to be safe.
On our race boats they get assymbled and ran wide open right away.

I have customers with rentals 155hp seadoo and 12f that have 1000+ hours and they saw rev limiters leaving the boat ramp on day one!

Basicly the break in days are kind of behind us.
Cars don't even have break in periods any more
