    RIVA Billet Driveshaft Sleeve Kit

    so idk if this might be a dumb quest but i was wondering what does the RIVA Billet Driveshaft Sleeve Kit do,im going to go buy my pet tach at riva and i was wondering if i should buy that 2

    At speed the OEM boot is under vacuum & will eventually stretch out around the spring-like thing inside it & start rubbing the driveshaft. If the boot rubs through it'll leak water. For years people have replaced the boots with heavy duty hose, but it eventually wears out too. The Riva piece is a good reliability upgrade.

    +1. I have seen guys replace the hose with some heavy duty braided high psi hose, but the Riva piece is a nice upgrade should you need it.

    thanks a lot man really needed that info ill prob end up buying it now even though i still dont need it but for the future plus it looks pretty cool lol

    I bought one last year and finally put it on my FZS today, I am glad I did, the spring inside tha stock part was broken and the hose was worn starting to leak...

    the gprs you can use a piece of reinforced gates hose. Just do a search
