    Re-pitching FZR impeller

    Hi

New to this forum and very impressed with the info I received from different treads so far.
I been having some problems with getting the right impeller pitch on my Riva stage 2 FZR. Seem to get a lot of bottom cavitation.
Been reading that some guys re-pitch there impeller. Can one do it by yourself or need to be send away. If one can do it by youself, what tools is needed?

You can do it yourself or send the prop out to have it be done. The tools you will need are a 24" crescent wrench, a jig to hold the prop, and prop gauges to measure the prop.

What prop are you currently running and what are your rpms?

    Thanks alot!

Modification tools and parts are extremely hard to come by in South Africa. Been spending alot of time on these forums and learning alot about the FZR's.

Shot for all the input so far!

    Hi

Thanks Mike for the message will, get on it asap.

This is my FZR set up: Riva stage 1 with re mapped ECU
    Riva- Power filter
    FF exhaust
Ride plate, intake grate and pump seal kit
    Manifold upgrade kit
Standard impeller or Skat 15/23 with wear ring and reduction nozzle and rings to choose from
    Re-mapped ECU

Want to add the following: HKS BOV kit and OEM intercooler upgrade kit. Do I need to add more to this or is it fine. My goal is to run a good top end and power with out changing anything internally.

Let me know what you guys think please.

    Melvo
