    On The Rev Limiter...

I just picked up a stage 3+ 05 rxp with 50hrs on it. Ski runs great and is a huge difference compared to my old stock rxp. On top end runs I am on the rev limator pretty easy right around 8500. Not sure if this is hurting the ski or hurting my top speed? I guess I really need to put the ski on a gps to see where I am at. I was told the ski is set up safe and runs 80mph the way it sits. The orignal owner told me the ski has been 84mph but it was with a different prob and turing everything higher. If the ski is safe and runs 80mph I am happy with it. I just want to make sure that im not hurting the ski by bumping the limator like that. Am I also killing my top speed by doing this? To save myself some trouble here is the mod list from the ad. He said he thinks it has a 15-20 or 15-19 prop on it now. Thanks for the help

I thought the limiter was 8650? How do you know you are on the limiter? Just a thought....

Yeah at 8500 you shouldn't be hitting the limiter hence why the ski has an 8650 ecu...

I think you are good. Look at the rpm's when you take it out again. If it is pegged at 8650 then you are on the limiter. If not, you have another problem

I almost postitive that I am on the limator. So hitting the limator up top isnt going to hurt anything.
