    Oil Filler cap

I checked the oil today, and the cap where you add oil is missing. A bit of spilled oil came out the top, probably when we tipped, but very little and oil level is perfect.

The dealer cant get the part for a week. I can't find it in the bilge.

Can I cover the hole with tyvac or something and keep riding? Or is it a pressurized part? Any one ever lost one?

If you have a good relationship with your dealer ask him if he can just take one off of another ski and put it on your ski. And he just puts the one that you ordered back on his ski when it comes in.

That oil cap is in there somewhere. Look all the way aft. Could be behind or wedged underneath the waterbox

i have found them under the gas tank before. stand trailer up as high as you can with the ski on it and listen for it to move you should hear it. If no noise then its gotta be back there somewhere, or it possibly got left on footwell maybe

Thats normally what we do as a dealership if its not in stock and its something simple like that then we will pull one off of a new one on the floor and just cover the hole on the new one untill the ordered part comes in. We are a small dealership though 4 employees total, 2.5 owners and 1.5 mechanics

It was near the water box. Just needed someone with thinner arms.
