Question about using an Ugraded ECU

With all the mods in my signature and if i added the Riva XX SC impeller kit and the RRFPR plus 50lb injectors, Could I get away without changing the ECU and Valve Train?

I am going to guess you meant valve train upgrade, because there is nothing wrong with the stock valves. No you dont need to upgrade the valve train unless you rev it higher than stock. You may be able to not run the ecu, but I would monitor your afrs. And to really get the most out of those mods, run the ecu or a reflash. Trust me.

Yes I did mean the valve train, sorry. I just didn't want to float a valve. I will also put on the AFR gauge. I wonder if my CANDOO can do a reflash.

Yes, I would get bosch 48's there cheaper and way better than rivas. I would also get a afr gauge first before upgrading the supercharger and with the extra boost you want another way to tweak it in addition to a rrfpr such as a rude or begi type setup. If you want some steps do a afr gauge and o2 tap in your manifold first. Then you can see your afr's from there you can work on the ride plate heat exchanger with riva plate you can get 3 mph without spending the bank. If it were mine I do a ride plate and heat exchanger then work from there. If you have the dough to spend rrpfr xx charger, afr gauge tap mani, and a rude controller

Not the kinda reflash you would need.

I will upgrade the ECU and valve train later down the road. I just wanted to make sure what I wanted to add wouldn't cause any damage.

Get you a afr gauge first and then a rrfpr
