    Help with motor identification

I bought a Kawasaki jet ski motor for an upgrade. Is there any identification numbers or other criterion or labeling stamped on the motor to tell if it is a 500, 650, 750, 900, or etc., once it is out of the original ski?
Kinda hard to buy parts for something if you don't know what it is.

You bought an engine without knowing what you were getting???

The first few characters in the serial number will tell you, i.e. JT750BE03845 would be a 750.

    Yep. I did.
But the price was very low.
    Thanks for the info.
