    Racing bars on my SLTX

Sorry....newbie, so since I can't find a new OEM handlebar pad for my 97 SLTX, and my existing one looks like [email protected]# due to UV damage.....can I put a different handlebar and pad on it? I've seen some racers with different ones on them in photos of the same ski. Any ideas? Thanks, Craig

You can have the old pad painted or you can have the old one covered in
vinyl. Mine has een painted with a high quality pain with a flex additive. So far it has help up just fine.

it's more than just the handle bars you would have to replace because the steering shaft is integrated into the bars so you need the special part their so you can bolt the aftermarket bars on! Z

It would be a lot cheeper to recover your old pad or have it painted. But aftermarket bars have that koolness factor. If it wasn't for having two small children I would swap mine over. But, because my children are small (1 year and 3 year old) they sit in front of me, and when we hit wakes the handle bar pad usely hits them in the head. The aftermarket bars would not work well for them.

I sold one to Al that worked on a SLT. That was just the shaft and bar clamps.

Chopper City Motorsports was the name of the company.
