I screwed up - BOV Hose Question 250x

I pulled the intercooler to clean it and while I had it out I was going to do the BOV mod. Well, like a dumbass I broke the hose pulling it off. Will Gorilla tape get me by until I can get a replacement or am I stuck?

if you closed the valve so it cant open i would just put the little filter like the one that comes in the fresh air kit.you could always just go to the auto parts store and get a rubber hose that fits something like a heater hose for now.

It's the only hose that connects to the bov. I pulled the OEM bov apart and tightened the screw ala http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...50-OEM-BOV-Mod.

I went to a few auto parts stores but nobody had 1 1/2 ID hose. So, I'll just gorilla tape it and hope for the best so I can ride tomorrow.

You don't need the hose u can put a filter on it or block it off completely with a plate it just recycles hot air into your intake.

    the AM. We'll see.

just cut it at the broke bit and then just use some muscles or put the end of the hose in some hot water to make it soft and easier to push back on,
    its not a big deal,!!!!!!
Just look at the hose its all made from the same shit.

Dont want to sound mean here

but FUCK ME its not that hard to figure out, and if u need the internt to help you fix something that simple i suggest you DONT work on uour own skies guys !!!!!

    Fuck you, Mate.

If you read the link I posted it refers to having to buy a new duct. I'm new to supercharged skiis, and yes motherfucker, I know how to use the search button.

The ironic thing is we resolved the issue before you chimed in.

Here's an offer: You stay away from me and I'll stay away from you.

    Deal?

Supercharged or not , it's apiece friggin plastic hose, its not brain surgery was my point,

Like I said ( not being mean ) probably should have put not to the person who posted this basic ? , that in turn makes me think that he or she doesn't posses the required skills to work on this kind mechanical item.

    Since you salking about it
