    Lawnmower advice

i'm getting too old to push my toro around .75 acres in 95degree 95humidity. im looking to spend around 1500 or less. from what i hear john deere arent what they used to be and briggs and stratton are following suit. i was thinking cub cadet but dont know about kohler motors. the one with the kawasaki engine is 2 grand(i couldnt find a rotax model, lol). i dont need that kind of mower for .75 acres. what do you guys use and recommend? thanks. -Hal

Kohler makes a decent engine, pretty much all the manufactures started skimping on quality, I worked at Home Depot from 99 to 04 and saw the changes in Toro and even Honda went to a cheaper engine design.
