    Low RPM's on one motor

Well I figured out why in the summer I had one motor that had 300 to 350 less RPM's... I thought it was leaking boost. But now that the SC is out on the bench I tested the slip of the clutch. And it started to slip at 50 inch lbs. I did try to do it in the boat and I had thought that I had about 70 inch lbs but not on the bench. When they are hot do they slip less? Because maybe it is 70 when hot and more when cold?

I'll I know is I'm going to not let this sucker slip until 100 inch lbs

Wow, 50 is pretty low but you can still run it OK even in the 85 area. I would not get to wrapped up in the slip being at 100 because depending on the hours of your s/c and condition of the spring washers, you may not see it.

I'm going though them this winter and installing S3 and a RR over drive gears. So I went with the ceramic bearings, Jerry washers and all new spring washers and seals. So who known’s the mother should run!!!

Yep, when you get rid of the 185hp overdrive gears and go to the 215's, you'll see the boost go up..
