2010 Rxt-X260 drain plug houseing (spinning)

Hey everyone. How do you tighten the through-hull houseing of the hull drain in the back of the ski. I went to unscrew one of my plugs and the whole assembly turned. I see there is a big placstic retaining place on the inside of the hull that locks it down, but is there a certain tool to hold this with. I was able to stick a 3/8 socket in the actually drain plug (outside of hull) and tigthen it some. Just needs some input on this spinning houseing...Thanks

    Drain plug neck removal

    1. remove access panel
    2. cut locking tie securing bailer hose to the drain plug assembly
    3. unscrew the drain plug from the drain neck and pull the drain plug out of the neck
    4. inside hull, hold drain neck nut using adjustable pliers
    5. using a ratchet handle and extension of appropriate size, unscrew the drain neck from the hull

    Drain plug neck installation

    1. install drain neck and torque to 9nm (80 lbf-in)
    2. secure bailer hose to drain neck using new locking tie
    3. reinstall all removed parts in the revers order of removal

Thanks jpt7779. I always know I can count on your help. The only think is, this one is running under the reverse/brake motor. I dont really want to remove that if I can keep from it. I think its going to be a pain getting to that one little zip-tie. I am almost tempted to safetywire the tube back on. At least then you know it want come off or brake. What do you think. I also put the socket in the drain and tightened it pretty snug. When I did this, the placstic nut on the inside stayed and I am assuming tightened down the assembly. The drain tube did spin a little, but no kinks in it or anything. Think I should be good.
