Starter solenoid diagnosis.... And short term work around?

Had some issues with water in the ski, then problems with it starting.

Cranked for too long I think.... Now I just get a very quiet click when I hit the start button. Seems like the solenoid.

I hAve a spare At home, 3 hours away. Is there a safe way to work around this so we can ride today, or should I just punt?

    Thanks!
