So about 10 hours after my rebuilt x charger, rear bearing let go, now what?
so before i knew how much it would cost to jsut but a new x charger i decided to just have my buddy rebuild my x charger with a et kit and viton seals as he was doing other work and maintenance as well.
well ski ran phenomenal for 10 hours and then just shut down once i got off throttle and ski came to idle.
so, brought the ski back to his shop, and make a long story short, he tells me the rear bearing let go and shaft moved forward and the wheel hit the housing. bearing is intact, flywheel is fine, and motor sounds fine as well, their was some dust from the sc wheel hitting the housing though in the IC.
so whats the consensus, what do i do?
is the motor def gonna be screwed or compromised?
trying to figure out the cheapest solution at this point.
anyone got a used x charger for sale?

If the charger stayed intact you can probably get away with just changing the charger
But make sure the charger gear and flywheel don't have damaged teeth.

Motor should be fine. Check your ic and piping out good and replace wheel and rebuild charger as needed. Im assuming your buddy has experience building chargers?

It's 137 wheel and a spacer there is also a 127 wheel and spacer.
Those kits aren't full rebuild kits btw
