    beak in tips for 2009 FZS and FXSHO?

    Picking up this week brand new - looking for break in tips, used to have a 97 GTX (5 years ago)

    Welcome to the world of 4 strokes! I am a big fan of changing the oil more often than what the manual says. If you can do it yourself it is no big deal and fairly easy to do. I would change the oil at 10 hours, filter too. Again at 25 hours. Again at 50 hours, filter too. Then again at 100 hours. Enjoy!

    +1. This topic has been discussed many times. I would recommend letting the ski idle for 5 minutes to reach operating temp and then let it rip with some short length WOT runs.

    i rode mine at 40 and below or the first 1.5hrs varing the rpm and load, then LET IT EAT SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!! if it didnt blow on the dyno at the factory its unlikely its gonna blow now
