Used Oil Analysis on 07' Ultra 250X

OK being in the middle of my 3rd season I finally pulled sample for a UOA. I've been doing it on my cars for more than 10 years.

Was really curious on the fuel dilution that many of you complain about and harshly criticized me 2.5 years ago for buying an 07'.

So the fuel dilution was 3.5% which isn't bad. Ski has 126 hours on it and I ran the oil a little longer than I normally do. Oil had 29 hours on it. The viscosity was down to about a 10W which is low. I should have changed it sooner or start running a heavier oil.
All the wear numbers looked good.

The lab, Blackstone, also said the silicon was a bit high but I'm guessing that is from a lack of an air filter on the skis.

As you said change it slightly earlier, use a slighty thicker if you wish,
I personally changed mine any if the skiies I service at 15hr max , my personal 07 ultra was changed at 10 hr max,

    Oils cheaper than a engine.

Same thing happened on my lab test, high silicon (=dirt/dust) content... but unless riding the ski through a sand storm on water, still trying to understand how?

I've run the RnD crankcase breather kit and it does keep the fuel out of the oil. I noticed a big difference just by using my sniffer. And I race the thing
