    remove or not

I'm reading the manual but its not clear. Do I have to remove the exhaust to get to the carbs or not? It looks like such a tight fit to get to them without the main exhaust pipe gone. Thanks

What seadoo? I have removed carbs on 787's, 657x's and 951's without removing exhaust.

i agree here, although most of my experience is with the 787. usually the biggest pita when it comes to carb access is the stock airbox, which is the reason I use prok.

On your 99 GSXL? No, you don't remove the pipe.

It has been a while since I have dealt with the stock pipe on a 951. I run twin pipes. Much easier to work on. If i recall correctly, you do have to remove The carbs to get to the pipe bolts on the manifold, but not the pipe to get to the carbs. Good luck! The one thing I remember about the stock 951, is that it is a nightmare!
