    Ultra 250 won't start!

New plugs, battery is charged. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. If I disconnect the battery and reconnect then it will usually starts. This last time when I turn the start button I don't even get my display panel to come on. Someone said might be computer but would it continue to come on occasionally?

if all the battery connections are clean and the battery is charged im guessing the fob reader is not registering the key, try reinserting the key and move it around in the slot lube the button in the end of the key socket

Is this problem only when ski is on water or also on trailer/land too?

I had not checked it until was putting in at lake and I could get my display but no crank at all. Like the switch was dead. Decided to try before I left the house last time and no display but battery was tested and is fine. Plugs are new. Was told might be computer chip but I don't think so since it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't

    > Is yours '07 or '08 250?
If it's '07, it is very likely that the key switch receptackle (aka antenna) in the glove compartment is going bad (corrosion in circuit). That antenna is failing to send a signal to ECU for starting.
If it's '08, it can be the bad antenna or other thing such as starter solenoid/relay.
    > Always specify what model year your ski is so that others can help you better.
    > What computer chip of a component in the ski are you talking about?
