Hey guys, found a 2008 FX HO with 52hrs on it. What do you guys think about the ski. I know it doesnt have the 1800cc engine, but just want thoughts on this ski and the engine in it.

I have this model, as the previous poster noted, it has the NanoX hull and the bulletproof MR-1 engine (only year of this combo, resulting in only 773 lbs dry weight, unreal for a performance 3 seater) (to compare, 2007 FX HO weighs 827 lbs/2009 FX HO weighs 794lbs). I've hit 62 mpg on GPS with perfect conditions, it's just the perfect ski if you don't want to worry about possible supercharger issues like I didn't. It also sips the gas, I love the thing and the all black color scheme with tribal graphics looks badass imo. To me it's the "Perfect Jetski"
Here's a good write up on it - http://www.topspeed.com/boats/yamaha...t-ar44329.html

Ive heard nothing but very good things about that ski. I may be looking to pick one up for the Wife next spring.

They are asking 6500.00 for it, but think I can get it maybe a little cheaper. Just want to go back to yamaha and keep the Seadoo to play on. I have started taking long distance trips and with little storage and not so good of gas mileage on the RXT-X 260, I think this would be a good ski to have around.

I have a 2007 with the MR-1 engine. No issues at 90 hours with mainly ocean riding.
