    riva head or r&d head

    has anyone used these heads on gp1300r,is one better than the other?any know problems?

    hi

    i personaly after a lot of reading threads and good advice from members on this forum would work stock heads..stronger.. and you can keep #3 down a bit..and have the sacrafical anodes in them.. if in the usa you need to pm jims 1300 on forum..i would if i was in the states rather than get worked here in the uk..

    If I was going to buy heads again for an EFI boat, I would get the R&D stage II heads. They have staggered compression. You always want to run less compression on #3 cylinder.

    Well sounds good and all if there not on "back order" I waited for a set for three months and then finally said f*ck it and got the rivas wich work just fine!
