Installed and tested the TBM Super Pump Cone

Today I installed and tested the TBM Super Pump Cone for hole shot and acceleration. I tested the Stock cone, R&D cone and the TBM cone, back to back to back with out changing any additional mods. I was not looking for any speed number with this test just looking for noticeable gains in acceleration and hole shot. Radar graphs and speed numbers will be posted once with get some cooler weather! Air temp today was 99 and the humidity felt like 1000%

As can be expected with the stock cone there was a ton of cavitation on the hole shot and the acceleration was very good.

The R&D cone got ride of some of the cavitation but really no noticeable gains in acceleration.

With the TBM cone the cavitation was virtually eliminated and the gains were VERY noticeable throughout the entire RPM range. The ski ran like a Raped Ape.
The craftsmanship in the TBM cone is top notch, nice work TBM

Once we get some cooler weather I will try and get Jerry's BAD ASS radar gun and get some some acceleration graphs.

Here some pics of the TBM cone installed on my, you will notice with the supplied spacer there is no way the impeller can come in contact with the pump cone assambly.

Awesome info, can't wait for the graphs with jerrys new stalker. Only thing I would keep an eye on is pump pressure.

You're saying the acceleration was better with the TBM? Did you record the max rpm on each run? I'm interested to know how much difference you saw between the three.

Is it that much better? Wow! I'm impressed. Are you measuring tunnel pressure at all? Any relief?

I have been in contact with TBM, they have not recommended any reliefs with the pump cone, but I will be sure and check with them to make sure.

The pump cone looks mean though. I hope you get your RPM's back.
