CT river conditions (post irene)
Anyone know how the CT river is post irene? The reason I ask is because I'm planning a ride tomorrow morning (monday the 29th) and I want to make sure it's safe. We are going to be riding from Gill, MA up to the dam in VT. Thanks for any advice guys
Also, if you want to join shoot me a pm.

I would not even think of taking a ski in any river around here for awhile. A lot of debris for sure. Two ramps around here are 12-18 foot above flood stage ( and blocked to vehicles).

hope you all are alright out there on the east coast, hopefully not too much damage from flooding or wind, be safe!

We ended up riding out on webster lake on the MA/CT line. Almost no debris in the water which was great. Thanks for the advice on the CT river guys, I normally don't ride the river much so I'm a newb in river conditions.

Anyone been on the River in the past day or two? Think Old Saybrook launch and points south will be fine for this weekend?
