kanaflex rear air on 07 rxp... how concerned should I be about water ingestion?

I purchased an 07 rxp from a member of this board. It came with the 4" rear air intake. I've noticed that sometimes when I do 360s that water comes over the seat and towards the intake. On one occasion the ski bogged down for a little while until apparently the water dissipated. Obviously water in the cylinders = bad news. How can I keep water from getting into the air intake and still be able to do 360s? Do I need to go with a front air intake or just be happy with straight line speed? Is there a way to shield the water from coming into the intake tract?

    Thanks for the help.

GO TO A FRONT AIR 4 INCH!!!!!!!!
A rear air is not for 360's and playing hard!

You just need a piece of kanaflex to run far enough to the front of the ski, no need to buy another kit as i'm sure since the ski came with a rear air they put a catch can on and relocated the voltage regulator (rectifier). No Need to run a filter on the kanaflex either as there is nothing to filter inside the ski

Like jhill said, order yourself a 7 foot piece of Kanaflex, just got mine last week from Moreland for $28 plus shipping.

You already have the SC adapter so connect the kanaflex to it and run it to the front.

I put a spectre filter on mine just to be safe, got it off ebay for $29.

I ordered the kit off of the online store. I'm looking forward to doing some 360s on this bad boy without having to worry about destroying the engine. I can only go 70 mph for so long. The kit that is on there now looks like it was put together at Home Depot. It doesn't even have a filter...just a piece of screen.
