Talking SUGGESTIONS on HOLE SHOT KIT???

Ok, so I just recieved the hole shot kit from IslandRacing. I also received the D-plate which everyone tells me I should install too. The diagram I recieved from IslanRacing unfortunately is very poor. It looks like chicken scratch. (No hard feelings towards IslandRacing, they're very good.) However I don't think the insatllation instructions are professional at all. I have hands on experience & I'm not afraid of anything when it comes to these 2 stroke engines but any help is greatly appreaciated. I want to make sure I get things done correctly.

    By the way, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Ill admit it isnt the best diagram but it is pretty explanatory. Were here to answer any tech questions you may have during the install. Give me a call during the install if you have any troubles.

The water temp sensor should be tapped for a 10mm X 1.25 pitch, as corrected in this diagram. Thanks for catching this Osidebill!

Keep in mind if you havent done tapping before a local Napa or someone like that does it fairly cheap. I paid $15 for both holes.

That sounds good to me. I plan on buying the tools so I can tap it myself. Plus I have a friend that can help me. I need to do the tapping on the exhaust & also on the 5 degree GPR nozzle I just received. 8 holes in total. Thanks dude.

Question Running on idle too long...

Alright guys, the main reason I've brought this thread back up is because I need help. I understand that the jetworks mod works by not allowing the water in during idle so when u punch it, it rips out of the water with more power. Does this mean that if I idle too long I can risk overheating the engine? I'll give an example. I travel to Naples 3-4 times a year & teh bay there is mostly all idle speed & it can take between 20-30 minutes to get from the resort I stay at to the Gulf. Is this a factor???
