since everyone is on the AFR topic.......

as i may be stand corrected i have my rrpfr installed without the boost reference line hooked up....??? my afrs are decent.... my charger is similar to and X . my question is on 06+ skis they have the line on the throttle body you can attach to... on my 05 i dont have that. Do i need to setup this boost line to the regulator or am i ok just using it as a fpr since my numbers are withing range right now?? and if so whats the best way in doing so on a 05 rxp ?

I don't have mine hooked up. My numbers are better without it.

If you hook it up, go to the manifold not the TB. Someone posted a while back about better readings from the manifold rather than the TB.

If you hook up to the TB the RRFPR will not see vacuum, thus you will run richer at idle. This can be a great setup.......IF that gets your AFR where they need to be.

You can drill the manifold and try it there, your afrs may be better, if not just cap off the manifold nipple and run it as is.
I run mine connected to the manifold and my afrs are great, so I have never tried it anywhere else.

+1 sayers.......... I had the riva rrfpr I could not get my afr numbers right at idle and mid... but wot would be good, idle and mid were way lean... so I blocked off manifold and went through the throttle body lube port and seen a substantial difference and idle and mid, richened them up. The smaller chargers dont really see this much of a problem but once you go bigger it's hard to get these afrs in order without adding a begi or something similar to adjust.

Greenbullet... Why not try and hook it up to the throttle body??? it takes seriously a mere 5 seconds to hook up then what another 5 min to retune on water and see what you got. if you don't like it put it back......... run the hose and 2 zip ties done.
